Dreams Take Flight Winnipeg’s goal is to provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for physically, mentally or socially challenged children to be “a child for a day in Disney World”.

Air Canada donates the aircraft, Shell fuels the flight to Orlando, and other businesses donate their services and products.  Air Canada employees along with members of the community donate their time year round to raise the funds, plan the adventure, and make this a memorable day for special children from Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

While the Raiders acknowledge the efforts of all volunteers committed to this program's success - one such individual that stood out for us was none other than our very own "Cam Hildebrand".  Cam was more than proud to be a part of this year's "Dream" and the Raiders Junior Hockey Club was more than proud to have Cam as their representative.

The 2012 highly anticipated flight left early in the morning - 5:00 am - Wednesday, April 25 from the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport. There were 133 children, 25 parents, 10 media and 32 group leaders who are Air Canada employees, family members and volunteers that headed out to spend the day with Mickey and the gang!

The annual event provides these children with a lifetime of memories - if you ask Cam, I'm sure he'll tell you this year's event provided him with the same.  Thank you Cam!  We're proud you're a Raider!
